Bone Shop, The Daily and Meta Progression

Updated 2026-09-26

On this page

Every run in Blood Dungeon ends — and then the Bone Shop is where it pays off. The official description puts it plainly: visit the Dogmancer to pay the bone toll and unlock permanent upgrades. Survive a run, take the Bones you've earned to the Bone Shop, and get stronger.

Map Stamps and the new Drop Site route

Update v2026090202 added Map Stamps to the Bone Shop alongside new Drop Site quests and hub NPCs. Drop Sites are possible locations for special chests: collect one chest and another spawns at a different site. Visit the Library for the new clues, then check the Bone Shop for Map Stamps before planning a route. The follow-up v2026090401 patch improved the stamp icons and added text at the Drop Site. Patch v2026091401 then added empty-site sprites and a menu toggle for Drop Site tips.

The official notes do not state a Map Stamp price, a separate unlock condition, or fixed chest coordinates. Those details should be read from the current shop, quests and map rather than guessed from the patch notes.

Spend Bones after every run

There's a direct incentive to spend rather than hoard: buying 10 Bone Shop items unlocks the Baby character, which 63.2% of players have done. Every permanent-upgrade roster below is confirmed by the official achievement list, which also gives each one an exact unlock condition. Map Stamps are the newer utility item described separately above.

If the Bone Shop's reload upgrade sometimes failed to apply, v2026091401 lists that issue as fixed.

The September 22 Steam v2026091805 patch added a permanent Knockback upgrade to the Bone Shop and new quests tied to the patch's new content. It also capped carried Bones at 66,666. The official notes do not state the Knockback upgrade's price or unlock condition, so it is not added to the exact-condition table below.

The Daily

There's a daily run — The Daily — and playing it even once unlocks the Vampire Ring. Only 8.6% of players have bothered, which means free progress is sitting there. The official feature list also calls out daily dungeons and global high scores, so a Daily attempt is where your score gets compared against everyone else's. Make it part of the routine: a Daily attempt plus banking your Bones is a complete session even on a bad day.

Milestones worth planning around

A few unlocks are really just "play the game well, once":

  • Freeze Armor / Escape Artist — beat a level with all hearts remaining, or with exactly one. Two opposite kinds of clean run.
  • Jumps — last 13 minutes in a single run. Pure endurance.
  • Candlemaker — come back from the dead, the rarest Bone Shop unlock at 0.5%.
  • Bunkhouse — beat every level with every character from the bunkhouse. At 0.2% of players, this is the game's true completionist goal.

For every condition in one place — characters, arenas, weapons and items — use the full unlock checklist.
